April: Bittersweet End

  April hours: 6 Semester hours completed: 14   WOW , I can’t believe this semester is already over. It seems like April went by in a flash, but it was definitely jam packed with school, work, fun, and family. This month my family was able to visit New Orleans for the first time this year and it was so nice getting to show them some of my favorite places and sharing time in the city that I have grown to love so much. It has been sad realizing that it’s almost time to move back home, but I have appreciated the time I have had here and the friends I have made throughout the process.  With it being the last week of classes, things are starting to wrap-up. The NBME exam was no joke, but the sense of relief I felt after submitting it made all the stress and studying worth it. This week we have our last Cell Control exam and I have really enjoyed learning about the topics that are on this exam, especially pharmacogenomics.
